A case of fluoride pollution involving injury to cattle, caused by a brickworks in the Flemish countryside of Belgium, is described. The results of a one‐year investigation, including a fluoride analysis of urine of all the animals grazing in the vicinity, are presented. Fluoride concentrations in the forage consumed and the different materials used and produced at the brickworks are also measured. The dental lesions studied are described with respect to the beginning and the evaluation of the fluoride injury.
