The possibility to utilize a passive personal dosimeter for chemical compounds of low volatility, such as PAHs, has been examined with side by side active and passive sampling in a Soderberg electrodes manufacturing plant. A possible paniculate effect on the gas/particle distribution for PAHs with only two benzene rings has also been found.
