Interprofessional Providers’ Perspectives on the Effectiveness of Anger Management Programs with Court-Mandated Clients

Abstract

The efficacy of court-mandated anger management treatment has varied reviews in the literature. This study asked counselors their perceptions, and results indicated that anger management treatment was perceived as highly effective. In addition, counselors reported having a moderate level of training preparedness to provide anger management services.
