A multicentre study: Comparison of 3-LM group output and therapeutic outcome measures. Adding to the trustworthiness of the 3-LM? Part 2

ABSTRACT

This is the second report (part 2) of an investigation whose general objective was to provide evidence regarding the trustworthiness of the Three-Level Model (3-LM). Three groups of analysts from different IPA regions worked with this model on the same clinical case. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: 1) To analyze group output with the same structured qualitative methodology (part 1); 2) To compare the results of the 3-LM group output reported in the 3-LM forms with the process-outcome measures used in the clinical case (part 2); 3) To describe the presence-absence of anchor points in the groups, their similarities and differences (part 2); 4) To exemplify the interrelationship of the three levels of the 3-LM in relation to patient change and the analyst's interventions (part 2). Sample: verbatim transcript of three 3-LM groups. Materials: 3-LM forms, process and outcome measures (APS, DIS and PHI-RADIO) and Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis. RESULTS: Objective 2 found global convergence in the PHI, DIS and APS scores across sessions. Objective 3 showed convergences and divergences in the themes relating to the anchor points. Objective 4 showed how an anchor point corresponds to the focus of treatment and how this is present in the analyst's attitudes and interventions. DISCUSSION: The results offer preliminary support for the trustworthiness of the 3-LM.

Une étude multi-centrée : comparaison de la production des groupes de 3-LM et des résultats thérapeutiques. Une revalorisation de la crédibilité du 3-LM ? Partie 2

Il s'agit du second rapport (partie 2) d'une investigation dont le but général était d'apporter des preuves relatives à la crédibilité du Modèle à trois niveaux (3-LM). Trois groupes d'analystes originaires de différentes régions de l'API ont travaillé avec ce modèle sur le même cas clinique. OBJECTIFS SPECIFIQUES : 1) Analyser la production des groupes avec la même méthodologie structurée qualitativement (partie 1) ; 2) Comparer les résultats de la production du groupe 3-LM reportés sur les formulaires avec les mesures du processus-résultats utilisées dans le cas clinique (partie 2) ; 3) Décrire la présence-absence des points d'ancrage dans les groupes, leurs similarités et différences (partie 2) ; 4) Exemplifier l'inter-relation des trois niveaux du 3-LM en relation avec les changements chez le patient et les interventions de l'analyste (partie 2). Exemple : transcription verbatim de trois groupes 3-LM. Matériel : formulaires 3-LM, mesures du processus et des résultats (APS, DIS et PHI-RADIO) et Diagnostic psychodynamique opérationnel. RESULTATS : l'objectif 2 a montré une convergence globale dans les résultats PHI, DIS et APS des séances. Objectif 3 a montré des convergences et des divergences des thèmes liés aux points d'ancrage. Objectif 4 a montré comment un point d'ancrage correspond à l'objectif principal du traitement et comment on le retrouve dans les attitudes et interventions de l'analyste. DISCUSSION : les résultats apportent un étayage préliminaire à la crédibilité du 3-ML.

Eine multizentrische Studie: Vergleich des Outputs der 3-LM-Gruppe und der therapeutischen Ergebnismessungen. Ein Beitrag zur Vertrauenswürdigkeit der 3-LM? - Teil 2

Dies ist der zweite Bericht (Teil 2) einer Untersuchung, deren allgemeines Ziel es war, die Vertrauenswürdigkeit des Drei-Ebenen-Modells (3-LM) zu belegen. Drei Gruppen von Analytikern aus verschiedenen IPA-Regionen arbeiteten mit diesem Modell an demselben klinischen Fall. SPEZIFISCHE ZIELE: 1) Analyse der Gruppenergebnisse mit der gleichen strukturierten qualitativen Methode. 2) Vergleich der Ergebnisse des 3-LM-Gruppen-Outputs, von denen in den 3-LM Formularen berichtet wird, mit den im klinischen Fall verwendeten Prozess-Ergebnis-Maßen (Teil 2). 3) Beschreibung des Vorhandenseins bzw. Nichtvorhandenseins von Ankerpunkten in den Gruppen, ihrer Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede (Teil 2). 4) Veranschaulichung des Zusammenhangs zwischen den drei Ebenen des 3-LM in Bezug auf die Veränderung des Patienten und die Interventionen des Analytikers (Teil 2). Beispiel: Ausführliches Transkript von drei 3-LM-Gruppen. Materialien: 3-LM Formulare, Prozess- und Ergebnismessungen (APS, DIS und PHI-RADIO) und Operationalisierte psychodynamische Diagnostik. ERGEBNISSE: Im Rahmen von Ziel 2 wurde eine globale Konvergenz der PHI-, DIS- und APS-Werte über die Sitzungen hinweg festgestellt. Ziel 3 zeigte Konvergenzen und Divergenzen in den Themen, die sich auf die Ankerpunkte beziehen. Ziel 4 zeigte, wie ein Ankerpunkt mit dem Fokus der Behandlung korrespondiert und wie dieser in den Einstellungen und Interventionen des Analytikers zum Ausdruck kommt. DISKUSSION: Die Ergebnisse bieten eine erste Unterstützung für die Vertrauenswürdigkeit des 3-LM.

Uno studio multicentrico. Confronto tra gli output dei gruppi 3-LM e le misure di esito terapeutico. Un'ulteriore conferma dell'affidabilità del modello 3-LM? - Parte 2.

Questa è la seconda relazione (parte 2) su una ricerca condotta allo scopo di portare delle prove rispetto all'attendibilità del Modello a Tre Livelli (3-LM). Tre gruppi di analisti provenienti da diverse regioni IPA hanno utilizzato questo modello per lavorare sullo stesso caso clinico. OBIETTIVI SPECIFICI. 1) Analizzare gli output dei diversi gruppi con la stessa metodologia qualitativa strutturata (parte 1); 2) Confrontare i risultati degli output dei gruppi 3-LM riportati nei moduli 3-LM con le misure di processo e di esito utilizzate nel caso clinico (parte 2); 3) Descrivere la presenza o l'assenza di punti di ancoraggio nei diversi gruppi, ed eventualmente le loro somiglianze e differenze (parte 2); 4) Fornire esempi dell'interrelazione tra i tre livelli del 3-LM in relazione al cambiamento del paziente e agli interventi dell'analista (parte 2). Campione di dati fornito: trascrizione integrale di tre gruppi 3-LM. Materiali utilizzati: moduli 3-LM, misure di processo e di esito (APS, DIS e PHI-RADIO) e Diagnosi Psicodinamica Operazionalizzata. RISULTATI. L'obiettivo 2 ha rilevato una generale convergenza nei punteggi PHI, DIS e APS tra le diverse sedute analizzate. L'obiettivo 3 ha riscontrato convergenze e divergenze nei temi che caratterizzano i punti di ancoraggio. L'obiettivo 4 ha mostrato come un punto di ancoraggio corrisponda al focus del trattamento e come questo sia presente negli atteggiamenti e negli interventi dell'analista. DISCUSSIONE. I risultati offrono una preliminare convalida dell'affidabilità del modello 3-LM.

Estudio Multicéntrico: Comparación entre la producción de grupos 3- LM y medidas de resultado. ¿Sumando a la Credibilidad (Trustworthiness) del 3-LM? Parte 2

Este es el segundo informe (parte 2) de una investigación cuyo objetivo general fue brindar evidencia respecto a la credibilidad (Trustworthiness) del Modelo 3-LM. Tres grupos de analistas de diferentes regiones de la API trabajaron este modelo con un mismo caso clínico. OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS: 1) Analizar la producción grupal con la misma metodología cualitativa estructurada (parte 1); 2) Comparar los resultados de la producción grupal reportados en los formularios con las medidas procesos-resultados del caso clínico, (parte 2); 3) Describir la presencia-ausencia de puntos de anclaje en los grupos, sus similitudes y diferencias (parte 2); 4) Ejemplificar la interrelación de los tres niveles del modelo 3-LM con relación al cambio del paciente y a las intervenciones del analista (parte 2). Muestra: transcripción verbatim de tres grupos 3-LM. Materiales: formularios del Modelo 3-LM, medidas de proceso y resultado (APS, DIS y PHI-RADIO) y el Diagnóstico Psicodinámico Operacionalizado. RESULTADOS: Objetivo 2 encontró una convergencia global en los puntajes PHI, DIS y APS de las sesiones. Objetivo 3 mostró convergencias y divergencias en las temáticas de los puntos de anclaje. Objetivo 4 evidenció, como un punto de anclaje se corresponde con un foco de tratamiento y cómo éste, se presenta en la actitud y en las intervenciones del analista. DISCUSIÓN: Los resultados apoyan preliminarmente la credibilidad del 3-LM.
