A comment on the ‘Robust mixed time-optimal control for third-order systems with model uncertainty’

Abstract

In this correspondence, we point out that the switching plane design procedure proposed in the recent paper ‘Robust mixed time-optimal control for third-order systems with model uncertainty’ (International Journal of Systems Science, Vol. 37, No. 3, 20 February 2006, pp. 173–180) contains a mistake and does not lead to the optimal performance of the considered system.
