TACHINIDAE OF ISRAEL IV. DESCRIPTION OF TEN NEW SPECIES

ABSTRACT

Ten new species from Israel and the Sinai peninsula are described. Two of them, Mendelssohnia sinaica (Blondeliina) and Amnonia carmelitana (Atylomyina), belong to new genera. The other eight species are Archiclops blaptis, Pseudomintho ater, Rhinotachina (Pseudorhinotachina) golanensis, Ernestia (Meriania) longiventris, Linnaemyia petiolata, Clairvillia pninae, Clytiomyia dupuisi and Gymnosoma acrosterni. The holotypes and most of the paratypes are deposited in the Entomological Collection of the Department of Zoology, Tel Aviv University.
