Bronwyn Davies

Bronwyn Daviesis a senior lecturer in the Department of Social, Cultural and Curriculum Studies at the University of New England, Armidale, NSW 2351, Australia. She is author of Life in the Classroom and Playground: The Accounts of Primary School Children(Routledge & Kegan Paul) and Frogs and Snails and Feminist Tales: Preschool Children and Gender(Allen & Unwin). She is currently working on an Australian Research Council funded project on primary school children.

Chas Banks

Chas Banksis a research fellow in the Department of Social, Cultural and Curriculum Studies at the University of New England. She works with Bronwyn Davies on a project entitled ‘A poststructuralist analysis of gender and of primary school children's discourse with a particular focus on narrative structures’.
