David Kirk

David Kirk is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences at Deakin University (Geelong Campus), Victoria 3217, Australia. He is an advisory editor of JCS. His current research centres on the social construction of physical education and the body in culture. His most recent books are The Body, Schooling and Culture (Deakin University Press, 1993) and Learning To Teach Physical Education (Prentice‐Hall, 1993; with Richard Tinning and John Evans).
