A Basic Research Paradigm in Geography

Abstract

For a beginner, the formulation of a research problem based on a sound conceptual framework is often a frustrating experience. In this paper, a basic paradigm has been discussed by illustrating some preliminary steps in research, and by emphasizing the role and derivation of a theory and theorizing process in geographic research.
