Pages 333-347 | Received 12 Oct 1991, Accepted 03 Apr 1992, Published online: 13 Feb 2018

Abstract

The variations of feminist critique and thought address fundamental epistemological and methodological issues of leisure science. This paper discusses the structure of the current discourse on feminism and leisure science, the complexity of feminist thought, and the current developments in feminist theory in-process. Finally, current feminist philosophical explorations provide a model of scholarship that supports inclusion of multiple perspectives and mutual critique that leads to a rich and complex view of leisure.
