ABSTRACT
Eight new taxa of whiteflies are described, which include Paramarginatus sarawakensis Dubey gen. and sp. nov., and six new species of the genus Aleuromarginatus Corbett: A. asymmetricis Dubey sp. nov., A. frim Dubey sp. nov., A. glandulis Dubey sp. nov., A. martini Dubey sp. nov., and A. similis Dubey sp. nov. from West Malaysia, and A. sulawesiensis Dubey sp. nov. from Sulawesi. Aleuromarginatus is recorded for the first time from Sulawesi. Aleuromarginatus littoralis Martin is newly recorded from the Oriental region, Malaysia and Sulawesi. Sexual dimorphisms involved with new species and variations in A. littoralis are presented. A key to puparia of all the Aleuromarginatus species so far described is given for the first time. Records of the host plants with their families are listed. Line drawings and microphotographs of holotype(s) and paratypes are provided.
