Principals' Experience and Teachers' Satisfaction in Lebanese Secondary Schools

Pages 7-10 | Received 09 Feb 1981, Published online: 02 Jul 2010

Summary

This study supports Fiedler's contingency theory regarding the relationship between high and low LPC (Least Prefered Co-worker) principals' years of experience and teachers' satisfaction. The results show significant differences between high and low LPC groups in their relationship with teachers' satisfaction as well as an interaction effect between the independent variables of experience and style as they relate to teachers' satisfaction.
