Abstract

Work ethic and related concepts in Canada were examined. The participants (115 managers and employees from three business organizations) displayed a weak commitment to work ethic and to individualism, but a moderate commitment to contemporary work ethic, work involvement, work-related individualism, and work loyalty. All measures of work ethic and work loyalty were strongly correlated.
