Transitions Vibrationnelles de l'Hexamethylènetetramine Perdeuteriée en Phase Solide

Abstract

Les spectres d'absorption infrarouge et de diffusion Raman d'échantillons polycristallins de l'hexamethylènetetramine perdeuteriée (H.M.T.D) ont été enregistrés à 300 et 80 K. Pour les vibrations fondamentales optiquement actives les données les plus récentes se trouvent confirmées. Pour les processus additifs observes, nous avons pu séparer ceux qui impliquent les modes de réseau et ceux relatifs aux vibrations internes. L'étude de ces derniers nous a permis de déterminer les frequences de tous les modes optiquement inactifs: ces résultats sont en excellent accord avec les données les plus récentes tant expérimentales que calculées.

The Raman scattering and infrared absorption spectra of polycrystalline perdeuterated hexamethyl-enetetramine (H.M.T.D) at 300 and 80 K have been recorded. For optically active fundamental vibrations the previous data have been confirmed; for the observed multiphonons processes it has been found that in some of them all the q ≠ 0 lattice modes are involved while for the quasi totality of the other bands (or lines) only the internal vibrations are concerned. From these overtones and combinations a set of frequencies for all the inactive normal modes has been suggested: this result has been found in fairly good agreement with the more recent data given by other technics.
