When the above article was first published online, the time-scale in Section 3 including Figs. 3 and 4 was too large by a factor of two. Accordingly, the following corrections have been made to the article both online and in print:
The caption of Fig. 3 now reads “One-dimensional slice of the Van Hove function of pure water at 0.04 ps < t < 0.8 ps with 05 ps (A–C) and 5 ps (D). The sample temperature was … .”
In the second paragraph of Section 3, the values of activation energy and estimated from IXS are 10.4 kJ/mol (107.8 meV) and m2s1, respectively. The second sentence of the paragraph now reads “Our result agrees with others at 318 K, but sharply deviates from others at lower temperatures.”
Fig. 4 has been replaced with the following figure, and its caption reads “ … The dashed line is the result of fitting with kJ/mol (2.47 kcal/mol) and m2s−1.”
The discussion and conclusions remain unchanged.
