Abstract

The transition amplitude for the three-term A-C-B molecular model in the absence of a direct interaction between the initial A and final B states is found in the WKB approximation. The theory describes the atomic collisions and the radiation processes in molecules arisen in the second order perturbation theory. The quasiclassical Raman scattering theory is developed for diatomic molecules.
