Abstract

Two methods proposed for the determination of the P-V-T behaviour of hard Gaussian-overlap fluids, employing the geometric properties of the corresponding hard ellipsoids and the hard convex-body equation of state, are discussed and the calculated compressibility factor compared with recent simulation data.
