A new species of Sporidesmiella from New York

Abstract

Sporidesmiella setosa, a dematiaceous hyphomycete, is described from bark of Betula alleghaniensis in New York. Comparison is made to S. parva and S. vignalensis, the only other two species of Sporidesmiella known to have setae.
