Six species of fungi pathogenic to grasses, Cercospora eragrostis sp. nov., C. microlaenae sp. nov., C. setariae Atk., Phaeoramularia fusimaculans (Atk.) X. Liu et Y. Guo, Tilletia cathcartae Duran et G. W. Fischer, and Ustilago macrospora Desm. are recorded in New Zealand for the first time; 72 new host records are given for 16 other species.
