New Zealand Tremellales—I

Summary

Nine species of Tremellales are describe from New Zealand, of which Helicogloca lagerbeimii Pat. and Tremella obseura (L.S. Olive) Christiansen constitute new records for the country. Auricula totarae Lloyd and Exidia teuax Cooke, both of which were originally described from NEw Zealand, are reduced to synonomy under Pseudohyduum gelatinosum (Scop. ex Fr.) P. Karst. and Exidia glandulosa Fr. respectively.
