The Authors and Editor would like to draw the reader's attention to two errors within the article:
MAM Renner & PJ de Lange 2011. Additions to the Lejeuneaceae flora of New Zealand: new species from the Kermadec Islands and range extensions of New Zealand species into the South Pacific. New Zealand Journal of Botany Volume 49:3, 421–433.
On page 431 the following sentence appears:
Because the epithet ‘acuminata’ is preoccupied in Lejeunea by L. acuminata (Lehm. et Lindenb.) Lehm. & Lindenb., a new epithet for Stenolejeuna acuminata Lejeunea schusterii is needed.
The correct sentence should read:
Because the epithet ‘acuminata’ is preoccupied in Lejeunea by L. acuminata (Lehm. et Lindenb.) Lehm. & Lindenb., a new epithet for Stenolejeunea acuminata, Lejeunea hawaikiana is provided.
Further:
Throughout the paper the epithet in Lejeunea schusteri was inadvertantly spelled “schusterii”, this is incorrect; the epithet is “schusteri”.
