New distribution records of 2 Boeckella species in New Zealand (note)

Abstract

The freshwater calanoid copepods Boeckella triarticulata and B. hamata were found in ponds near Napier. These are the first records of B. triarticulata in the North Island, New Zealand and of B. hamata in the east coast, North Island.
