A review of the canicularis group of Fannia Robineau-Desvoidy (Diptera: Fanniidae) from China

Abstract

The Chinese species of the Fannia canicularis group are reviewed. A new species, Fannia triangula Wang, sp. nov., is described. One new junior synonym, F. chaoyangensis Zhang, 1995 for F. canicularis (Linnaeus, 1761) is established. F. facisetosa is redescribed. A key to the twelve known Chinese species is presented.
