Abstract
One subgenus of Oligosita, Orioligosita subgen. nov., and ten new species of Indian Trichogrammatidae are described. These are: Chaetostrichella indica, sp. nov.; Haeckeliania orissaina, sp. nov.; Hayatia uttara, sp. nov.; Lathromeris yousufi, sp. nov.; Megaphragma shimalianum, sp. nov.; Oligosita (Orioligosita) similiana, sp. nov.; Prestwichia nympha, sp. nov.; Prosoligosita longicauda, sp. nov.; P. aseta, sp. nov.; and P. proxima, sp. nov. The subgenus Lathromeromina Livingstone & Yaqoob (of the genus Lathromeromyia Girault) is elevated to generic rank (stat. Nov.). Comments on the types of some species, synonymy and new combinations are included: Lathromeromina tingiphaga (Livingstone & Yaqoob), comb. nov. from Lathromeromyia; Lathromeromina transiseptata (Lin), comb. nov. from Lathromeromyia (a new record from India); Megaphragma aligarhensis Yousuf & Shafee (a new synonym of M. magniclava Yousuf & Shafee); Uscana corythaumaii (Livingstone & Yaqoob), comb. nov. from Lathromeromyia, and Uscana meerutensis (Yousuf & Shafee), comb. nov. from Prosoligosita. Keys are given for the Indian species of Megaphragma and Prosoligosita, and the world species of Hayatia (Hayatia). The genus Chaetostrichella is a new record from India.
