A new species of Lymaenon Walker (Hymenoptera: Mymaridae: Gonatocerini) from India with the country checklist and new records

Abstract

A new species of Lymaenon Walker, L. khalidi Amer & Zeya, sp. nov., is described. Out of 29 species of Lymaenon from India 11 species are recorded. Lymaenon breviterebratus (Subba Rao) is redescribed. Two species, Gonatocerus lakhimpuriensis Amer & Zeya and G. solanus Amer & Zeya are transferred to Lymaenon as new combinations. A checklist of Indian species of Lymaenon Walker is given.
