ABSTRACT
A new species of the cosmopolitan genus Perilampus Latreille, 1809 (Perilampidae) is described from south India with illustrations and its association with an unidentified Charops (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) pupa is recorded. The euminine parasitising perilampid, Krombeinius eumenidarum Bouček, 1978 (Perilampidae) is rediscovered and illustrated, also validating its host association with Paraleptomenes miniatus mephitis (Cameron, 1901) (Hymenoptera: Vespidae: Eumeninae) from south India. A checklist of Perilampidae occurring in India is also provided.
