Brian W. Flynn

Brian W. Flynn, EdD, is adjunct professor, Department of Psychiatry, associate director, Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland. He is a retired rear admiral/assistant surgeon general in the U.S. Public Health Service. In addition, he is the author of three books in the popular press: The Wisdom of Stones, The Voices of Stones: On Loss and Hope, and The Voices of Fishermen: On Superstitions.
