The experience of anxiety: A phenomenological investigation

Not realizing the ontological difference between anxiety and fear has led researchers to misinterpret what they are “measuring” when investigating the effects that these phenomena have on communicative ability. A phenomenology of anxiety elucidates this ontological difference and clarifies how anxiety and fear are experienced in communication situations.
