Pages 102-109 | Published online: 20 Apr 2012

Abstract

The purpose of this paper was to recognize what has changed, what is currently changing, what will probably change in the near future, and then to present issues and strategies that will allow the NAPEHE membership to become more effective change agents at the New University. First, a profile of the New University was created with its accompanying students. Then the potential role, place, and contribution of physical education at the New University were examined. Finally, suggestions and strategies of what must be changed if physical education is to survive and prosper at the New University are offered.
