Article title: Are Physical Activity Resources Understandable as Disseminated? A Meta-Analysis of Readability Studies

Authors: Thomas, J.D., Flay, B.R., and Cardinal, B.J.

Journal: Quest

Bibliometrics: Volume 70, Number 4, pages 492-518

DOI: https://doi.org/10.1080/00336297.2018.1463269

On page 508, in the fourth sentence under the section Study limitations, a citation is misattributed. The citation Ganta, Yi, Hussein, & Frank, 2014 should not be Ganta et al., but Sabharwal et al. (2008).

Corrected, it should read: “Sabharwal, Badarudeen & Kunju’s (2008) study is the only one that partially addressed this.”

Sabharwal et al.’s reference is below.

Sabharwal, S., Badarudeen, S., & Kunju, S. U. (2008). Readability of online patient education materials from the AAOS website. Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, 446, 1245-1250. doi: 10.1007/s11999-008-0193-8
