ABSTRACT
Children and adolescents need a vision of hope and success that will motivate them to take action. This discussion describes some ways of pondering the mandate in the Bible to care for the earth and for each other.

A. Anita Vincent is currently the Director of Religious Formation and Evangelization in a Catholic parish in Pennsylvania, USA. She earned a Doctor of Theology degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. She is a certified Montessori teacher and approved Formation Leader for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in the USA. She is a contributing author to publications such as Preaching Racial Justice (Orbis Books) and has presented at various conferences on the intersection of religious education and social justice.
