Abstract
In a material of 29 experimental subjects, bromsulfalein infusions have been given with different doses, and from the data the capacity of the liver to excrete bromsulfalein, the so-called hepatic mass, hm or Tm, has been calculated according to 3 different methods. It is shown that all the methods of calculation suffer from systematic errors, so that the calculated hm-value has not the real import that was expected.
