Abstract

Kronborg, O. 1970. Repeated Insulin Tests in Patients with Duodenal Ulcer after Truncal Vagotomy and Pyloroplasty. Scand. J. Gastroent. 5, 703-705.

The reproducibility of an insulin test after truncal vagotomy and pyloroplasty in 10 patients with duodenal ulcer is investigated. The insulin-activated secretion is found reproducible, but, according to the criteria of Hollander, the results are not reproducible to the same degree, possibly because of the great variation in the spontaneous gastric acid secretion.
