Kindergarten Scientists: The Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow

ABSTRACT

In this science unit, kindergarten students participate in engaging and developmentally appropriate activities as they learn about the science behind rainbows. The authors include descriptions of the standards and skills addressed by the unit, a synopsis of scientifically accurate content knowledge concerning rainbows, relevant children's literature, developmentally appropriate assessment ideas, and integrated unit activities they completed with their kindergarten students.
