Self or No Self: Views from Self Psychology and Buddhism in a Postmodern Context

Abstract

This article reviews how self psychology and Buddhism, filtered through a postmodern lens, view the construct of self. Similarities and differences in the notion of the self are explored while clinical implications are considered, when relevant.
