A new species of the genus Monicacoris Putshkov (Hemiptera: Reduviidae: Emesinae) from Madagascar

Abstract

Monicacoris atratus n. sp. is described as the second species of the Malagasy genus Monicacoris Putshkov, 1985. The habitus, morphological characters and male genitalia of the new species are illustrated. A key for the quick identification of the species of Monicacoris is provided.

Résumé

Une nouvelle espèce du genre Monicacoris Putshkov (Hemiptera : Reduviidae : Emesinae) de Madagascar. Monicacoris atratus n. sp., deuxième espèce du genre malgache Monicacoris Putshkov, 1985, est décrite. L'habitus, les caractères morphologiques et les organes génitaux mâles de la nouvelle espèce sont illustrés. Une clé pour l'identification rapide des espèces de Monicacoris est fournie.
