Abstract
It has been determined that nanostructures of various modifications form during the pyrolysis of hydrocarbons at temperatures of 600° to 850°C in the matrix of iron‐chromic spinel. The research performed by means of electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, and electron spin resonance (ESR) showed that there were three types of nanosystems in the spinel matrix: crystallites of carbon with sizes of 6–22 nm, multiwalled nanotubes, and carbon filaments.
