Gail K. Hart

Gail Hart is Professor of German and Chair of the Department of European Languages and Studies at the University of California, Irvine. She has written extensively on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century German literature and culture, especially Schiller. Her current project involves the concept of freedom in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century German literature, culture, and politics.
