Mauro Sassi
Mauro Sassi holds a Laurea in Lettere from the University of Turin (Italy) and a PhD in Italian Studies from McGill University. His research focuses on Italian media, particularly cinema and television, and especially on the relationship between styles and modes of production of visual media in Italy after World War II. He is the author of articles on film theory, TV theory, and Italian documentary history. His current projects include research on the Italian cinema of 1960.
