Rebecca Powers
Rebecca Powers is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of French and Italian at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her research focuses on nineteenth-century French novels at the intersection of history and literature. She is currently working on a book project that investigates the importance of literary expression in the emergence of a French working-class identity before 1848.
