Beatrice Ivey
Dr. Beatrice Ivey completed her PhD in French and Francophone Studies at the University of Leeds in 2018. Her book, Performative Pasts: Gender and Transnational Memory in French and Algerian Literature, Film, and Theater, is contracted with Liverpool University Press and explores the gendering of colonial memory in cultural production from France and Algeria. She is currently researching feminism and radio in the Sahel at the University of Sheffield.
