Facile Solid‐Phase Synthesis of Aliphatic Aldehydes Using Novel Polymer‐Supported Phenylselenomethyltrimethylsilane

Abstract

Treatment of a novel polymer‐supported phenylselenomethyltrimethylsilane reagent with LDA followed by alkylation and oxidative deselenation efficiently afforded aliphatic aldehydes in moderate to good yields with excellent purities.
