Abstract
Tetra‐n‐butylammonium hydroxide (TBAH) has been utilized as a novel and efficient catalyst for the Knoevenagel condensation of aldehydes with acidic methylene compounds such as methyl‐ and ethylcyanoacetate, malononitrile, and cyanoacetamide to afford substituted olefins.
