Abstract
A covalently linked porphyrin–fullerene C60 dyad 6 was conveniently synthesized by 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition using 5‐(4‐carbonylphenyl)‐10,15,20‐tris(4‐methoxylphenyl)porphyrin 5, N‐methylglycine and fullerene C60. Spectroscopic studies show that dyad 6 is a promising architecture with potential application as photoactive organic material.
