Abstract

A novel poly(para‐phenylene) containing imidazolium cation, poly[2,5‐bis[4‐(3‐methyl‐1‐imidazolium)‐butyloxy)‐1,4‐benzene dihexafluorophosphate] (PPP‐IL), has been synthesized.
