Chemoselective Synthesis of Asymmetrical Carbonate from Alcohol and Dimethyl Carbonate Catalyzed by Ytterbium(III) Triflate

Abstract

Catalyzed by ytterbium(III) triflate, asymmetrical carbonate can be chemoselectively synthesized from alcohols and dimethyl carbonate (DMC) in moderate to good yield under the mild conditions.
