Synthesis of Novel Bis-statine-based Peptide Containing Ferrocenyl Moiety

Abstract

In a search for a new inhibitor of aspartyl protease, the ferrocenyl group was introduced from the C-terminus of statine to create a novel bis-statine-based peptide containing ferrocenyl moiety in solution. The target compound was characterized by infrared, ¹H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis.
