Abstract
Interaction of phenylsulfonyl-2-aminobenzaldehyde with 2-bromo-1-phenylethanones in the presence of K2CO3 followed by acid-catalyzed dehydration led to the formation of 1-phenylsulfonyl-2-aroylindoles.
