Effects of Dynamics on the Properties of Feedback Adjustment Schemes With Dead Band

Abstract

Bounded adjustment schemes—also called dead-band schemes—are analyzed assuming that delayed elfects of the adjustments occur. The disturbance model is allowed to show a deterministic process drift per unit time interval, The resulting average adjustment interval and mean squared deviation from target are obtained under this general framework.
