Abstract
Parameters influencing the degree of crease release and the amount of durable set obtained when cohesively set, polymer-treated wool garments are exposed to steam at atmospheric pressure are presented. The rôle of the polymer in preventing crease release and the effect of steaming temperature on the extent of both crease release and durable set are discussed.
